Stephenson Director of Community Development SUBJECT: Ordinance No. 1032 DATE: May 30, 2014 BACKGROUND: On May 20, 2014, City Council considered the rezoning and a PUD overlay of property planned for the development of the Brighton Park neighborhood, located approximately Yz mile south of 116th St North on the west side of Mingo Road. The Council voted unanimously to approve PUD - 14-01, taking the subject property from an AG (Agriculture) zoning to RS -3 (Single - Family Residential High Density) with a PUD overlay. The attached ordinance officially rezones the property, codifying the action taken by the Council. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of Ordinance No. 1032 approving Planned Unit Development application OPUD -14 -01 and rezoning of property for the development of a single - family residential neighborhood known as Brighton Park.
