PRESENT: Ray Haynes, Chairman Scott Butler, Member Charles Willey, Member Jim. The property is zoned CH (commercial high-intensity), The mobile home is there as a nonconforming use. One of the Commercial Areas Objectives in the City's Comprehensive Plan (page 17) states the following: "Commercial and office land use sites will be of appropriate size and developed in accordance with existing zoning and subdivision regulations in order to avoid parking, crowding, blighting and other problems which can hamper the vitality of comnercia.l. enterprises." The applicant wants to leave the mobile home on the 251 lot. The Owasso Zoning Code (Section 206, page 7) states the following: "No lot shall contain any building used in whole or in part for residential purposes unless such lot_ has a.minimum of 30 feet of frontage on a public street or dedicated right -of -way, except a. sub- - standard lot of record., a lot within an approved Planned Unit. De- vel.opment,or a lot within an approved. Townhouse Development.'' Staff recommends denial of the request for the following reasons: (l) It would not be in compliance with the C;ommunity s Comprehensive Plan. (2) It would not be in harmony with the spirit and int e77 of the zoning code, After discussion, a motion .45ras made by S. Butler, seconded by C Willey, to deny the equest AYE: Butler, Willey, Haynes NAY: None MOTION: Carried :3 -0 ITEM 5: Meeting Time for the 193 7 planning Comm �_ssion. After discussion, a motion was made by S. Butler, seconded by C Willey, to change she Planning Commission meeting time from 7 :30 p.m to 7 :00 p.m. beginning January, 1937.. AYE: Butler, Willey, Haynes NAY: None MOTION: Carried 3 - 0 OWASSO PLANNING COMMISSION NOVEMBER 70, 1986 ITEM 6: New and General. Business Chairman Haynes welcomed the new member, Mr. Charles Willey, and voiced his thanks and appreciation for his interest and willingness to serve, Note: Charles Willey is replacing Barbara Buffington. Term ex- pires June 30, 1989o)jb With there being no further business to be brought before the Commission., Chairman Haynes asked for a motion to adjourn. Item 7: Vote to Adjourn. A motion was made by So Butler, seconded. by Co Willey, to adjourn.
