On Thursday, February 19, 1987 the Owasso Planning Commission met in a.
regular session in the Conference Room at City Hall per the Notice of
Public Meeting and Agenda posted on the City Hall bulletin board at
4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 13, 1987
ITEM 1: CALL, TO OITER<
The meeting was called to order at 7:04 p.m. with Chairman Haynes presiding.

Bill. Lewis, the Design Engineer for the road., stated that they were ask

Dale Johnson, Sup r isrtent, of' so Schools, stated they would, have two

C. Willey stated that the entry from the west was a 9.3% grade
D. Johnson stated they could take the 9.7% grade because they would..

Willey disagreed with Do Johnson.
D. Johnson stated they would. eventually have an access to 96t:h Street.:

S. Butler asked when this access would be opened,
Do Johnson stated he did not know.
Do Johnson stated the following:
(1) He did not have any problem with the 9.71 grade.
(2) The buses will not have a problem,
(3) The residential traffic will have more of a problem than the buses
S. Butler asked if they wanted. a 100 + grade,
Bill Lewis stated they were asking for a 9071 grade not a- 10o + grade. He
also stated they Owasso Subdivision Regulations had provisions for a variance;
in this type situation,
Do Johnson stated they were talking about a site that would be used for one
hundred years and they would have a street to 96th Street North within five
years.
After discussion., a. motion was made by So butler, seconded by E. Henry, to
approve; a 9.71 grade on the extension of North 123rd. East live to the new
school- site,

After discussion, a motion was made by ( , Willey, sec:on ed by U. Henry, to
recommend to the CRY Council to approve this request to vacate r five foot
easement: as requested by Mr, Miller

the Commissioners
Staff stated the following:
The Owasso Technical_ Advisory Committee met at 2000 p.m. on February
11; 1987 and had the following comments on Elm Creek Estates First Ad.d-

(1) Provide Address Plato
(2) Provide street names according to City of 'Tulsa. specifications,
(3) Must meet: the requirements of the Dire Department,
(4) Move hive foot ea- sement on south side of Lot 9, Block 43 to
north sic of lot 10, Block 430

Staff stated- the following:
The Owasso Techn.i-cal. Advisory Committee met at 2000 p.m. on February
11, 1987 and had the following continents on the Faith Luth.ern Church site

(1) Must meet the requirements of Waste Management,
(2) Parking lot must meet City of Owasso specifications.
(3) Parking must meet the requirements of the City of Owasso.
(4) Must meet the requirements of the Fire Marshall.
After discussion, a motion was made by S4 Butler, seconded by C. Willey,
to approve the site plan subject to the four (4) T.A.C. requirements,
