1. Chairman, M. Hinkle called the meeting to order at 7:37,
2. Roll was called and a quorum was declared present.
3. G. Phillips moved to approve the minutes of the meeting of December 17,
1981 as written. R. Sadler seconded the motion,

Nay: None,,
Motion carried 3-0-0.
ZONING PUBLIC RE• HEARING
4. OZ-61 Lloyd Kennedy Re-hearing IL to RMH
Staff stated that the applicant's attorney had requested continuance of
this rehearing until the next meeting of the Owasso Planning Commission,
No action was taken on this item.
COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING
5. Resignation Letter of Don Cooke
Commission members accepted the letter from Don Cooke resigning from the
Planning Commission and directed staff to attach a copy of the letter to
the minutes of the meeting to forward to the City Council. Members dis-
cussed several potential members to recommend to the City Council,
Three persons were proposed. Steve Compton, Ward One, expressed interest
in the appointment, Mr. Compton works with INCOG in an area unrelated to
Owasso. The Commissioners felt he would be an asset because he lives in
the northern part of the community and would have few biases because he
is a fairly recent resident and has a knowledge of planning matters, Pat
Larkin expressed interest in the appointment, He is a resident of Ward 5
is a builder in several county communities and has a thorough knowledge
of all phases of land development procedures. Rick Mahar also expressed
interest in the appointment. Mr. Mahar is a local businessman who has a
thorough knowledge of Owasso development. These three persons expressed
a willingness to serve and the Planning Commission requested the City
Council to consider these proposed members as appointments to the Planning
Commission.

6. Review of Building Permit Plans
There were no non -single family -residential permits to review,,
1. Update on recent plats and zoning cases
At Commissioners' request, staff updated them on the current status of
recent zoning cases and subdivision plats. No action was taken.
There being no further business to consider for the eveni
