Chairman Lambert asked if there was anyone wishing to speak for or against the request. George asked if 200 feet of commercial frontage would be sufficient to cover expansion needs. L. Poyner responded that it would be enougb at this time to accommodate the building he was proposing. General discussion followed between public, staff, and Commissioners regarding the adopted Owasso Comprehensive Plan and how it related to this particular case, The Chairman asked for staff's recommendation, which was given as follows: ...the Staff recommends CS zoning for one acre of the west portion of tract with a 200' frontage on 116th Street, and the balance remain AG. This would allow for the existing nonconforming use, while conforming to the Nevelopment Guidelines" of the Owasso Comprehensive Plan. There being no other comments, the Chair entertained a motion, C. Carr mode a motion to accept staff recommendation. L. George seconded the motion, For: A. Lambert, Co Carr, L. George, J. Simmons Against: None Motion passed 4-0. It was noted that the Planning Commission's recommendation would be forwarded to T]MAPC for their recommendation, with final consideration by the City of Tulsa. 5, A. Lambert mentioned his running for a Council seat in April's election, and since no opponents filed, he would be running un- contested, A. Lambert expressed his pleasure in serving on the Planning Commission, Discussion followed concerning the possibility of A.
