Street North and the Mingo Valley Expressway, north of 86th Street North, Staff presented and reviewed the subdivision plat and subdivision check- list for the proposed preliminary, After general discussion, Lambert made a motion for approval of the Preliminary Plat, C. Carr seconded the motion. For: Lambert, Co Carr and Deano Against: None. Motion passed 3-V K Proposed amendments to the Owasso subdivision regulations Section A.08 and A.08.1 were brought again to the Commissioners consideration, It was explained that the proposed amendments were intended to serve as a por- tion of an interim floodplain management program until a Comprehensive Floodplain management program could be developed for the Owasso area In addition, the proposed amendments are intended to reflect the measures of Ordinace 233 and to help insure the Owasso area's eligibility for F.I.A. Subdivision Flood insurance, After further discussion, Co Carr made a motion that the proposed amendments be forwarded to the Owasso City Council for their consideration and adoption as an amendment to the Owasso Subdivision Regulations, Lambert seconded the motion, For: C. Carr, Lambert and Dean,, Against: None, Motion passed 3-0, COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING E The current fiscal year of planning activities was outlined briefly. The Owasso Planning Commission members were referred to the chart depicting Owasso General Work Program for Comprehensive Planning activities. Gen- eral discussion followed regarding the relationship of the C.I.P. and H.G. to the proposed Comprehensive Plan Update, 8� Owasso Comprehensive Plan 1978-2000 - work session. The Owasso Planning Commission members indicated that they had no further questions or sug- gestions relating to the proposed plan at this time. No comments were made regarding the Traffic Operations and Safety Standards submitted as a portion of the Intensities policies under, the proposed Comprehensive Plan, Y General and New Businessy S. Carr related to the commissioners that the City was interested in sending two Owasso Planning Commission members to the %eventb Annual Short Course for Planning Commissioners and Elected Officials" on October 26, 27 and 28, S, Carr suggested that the Owasso Planning Commission determine now who they would recommend should go, Dean indicated his impending move in October or November and motioned that A. Lambert and C. Carr should attend. C. Carr indicated his desire to go but questioned his seconding such a motion. After some discussion, it was motioned by Dean and seconded by Q Carr that A. Lambert and Cq Carr should attend the conference for the Owasso Planning Commission if possible, and if either could not attend, then Reno Bars i or a new com- missioner should attend in either one of the other commissioners place. For: C. Carr, A. Lambert and J. Dean® Against: None. Motion passed 3-0. Sa Carr indicated his intention of preparing an advertisement to be published in the Owasso Reporter requesting resume's be submitted to the City for consideration as an Owasso City Planning Commissioner. Commissioners agreed to the concept. 10. There being no further business to consider, C. Carr made a motion for adjourment, seconded by Lambert. For: Co Carr, Lambert and Dean. Against: None.
