L & 2. Acting Chairman J. Dean called the meeting to order at 7:40, called
the roll, and declared a quorum present.
Y Cara states( that there was no secretary for 't;he. Planning Cozaamission
presently and that the election of a secretary might be in order. The
Planning Commissioners opened the meeting to nomination for secretary.
Vallon nominated Ca Carr for secretary and Dean seconded the motion,
There being no other nominations, nominations ceased, and C. Carr was
elected secretary on 3 -0 'vote for approval.
K The Owasso Planning Commission Minutes of June 15, 1978, were read and
approved on a motion by Vallon, seconded by C, Carr, and approved by a.
3 -0 vote for approval.

S. Carr presented the zoning .referral. ease from '7MAPC of John. Shay, The
request was to rezone a 28.5 nacre parcel o:r`_:' property from AG to RS-1,
The property is located generally k mile east., of the southwest, corner of the
intersection of 96th St, North and 129th V Ave, General. discussion :f.ol.l,c3wecf
regarding the zoning referral process and also the platting process, After
some further discussion the 0wasso Planning Commission voted to forward a
recommendation of approval to the TMAPC on a motion by Vallon, seconded by
C. Carr, and on 3 -0 voce: for app:r.°ova:l. by Vallon, Carr and Dean,
5, TMAPC Subdivision Referral-Fox Estates Meadows
S, Carr presented the subdivision plat; for Fox Estates Meadows. The plat
is submitted for preliminary pJa.t approval by `C`M:APC; and is referred to
Owasso for ar ?.a° ccammezzt.;a,
After some general discussion regarding the
site of the plat and State i ea lth Department requirements for s e a e
disposal, the Owasso Planning Commission voted to recommend preliminary
plat approval to the v MiPt on a motion by Vallon, afeCntgd by ;, Carr,
and a 3-0 vote. for approval by Vallon, Carr and Dean,

So Carr explained the overall_ breakdown of the proposed Owasso Comprehensive
Plan and noted that the table of contents was useful. in understanding
the general, plan content and format,
S, Carr presented the Commissioners and Councilmen a revised portion of
the policies relating to "Zoning Conformance to the Plan," The revisions
were based on comments made at the last joint Council-Planning Commission
meeting. The Plan proposals were read verbatim starting from revised page
3 to page 9 (stopping at the description of "neighborhoods").
Revisions in the recommended policies made by staff were noted and additional
modifications were recommended by Council and Commission members. The in-
tensities concepts were discussed in detail and examples of applying these
proposed Plan concepts to current zoning cases and subdivision plans were
given,

voted for adjournment at 10,30 and the meeting was adjourned,
