Mrs. Saddoris, a protestant, spoke against the application (there were 16 other protestants in attendance - several who also spoke). Mrs. Saddoris brough'''''. out the fact that the school system is presently overcrowded and that this develop. ment would further the problem of oversaturation of the school system with children, It was also brought out that the protestants felt that the new development wonld further overburden the City water system in this axes;. There was much discussion about this school problem between the applicants, the Protestants and the Planning Commission, The Staff gave his recommendation of approval with some modifications, whicb is attached to and made a part of these minutes, At this time Chairman Anderson relinquished the chair to Secretary Holt, Movion was made by Smith to approve as per Staff Recommendation. Seconded by Anderson; vote was 2-1, At this time Secretary Holt returned the chair to Wirman Anderson, SUBDIVISIONS Ator Heights IV Addition - consideration of conditional final appyova, The Staff made the presentation and the recommendation from the Technical Advisory Committee that the plat be continued because no review with the engineer took place, The Staff, however, recommended that the Planning Commission could give preliminary approval of the street system plan only, The Planning Commission voted unanimously (3-0) to give Preliminary Approval W the Street Plan only- TMAPC ZONING REFERRAL Z-4785 -Gar Je North of NW/c I 10th S t � N, & Ga rue L t Road AG to RS-I The Staff made the presentation of the referral, At this time Chairman Anderson relinquished the chair to Secretary Holt. Motion was made by Smith to recommend to T1,4APC to approve RS-1 zoning as requested, Seconded by Anderson; vote was 2-1, The Planning Commission wanted it to be noted that the dissenting vote was because of the problems new homes and people would place on the existing overcrowded school system, At this time Secretary Holt returned the chair to Chairman Anderson.
