4. A Request for a Variance of
Section 430 of the Owasso Zoning Code, Bulk and Area Requirements
in Residential Districts for, Lot Width in an RM-1 (Residential
Multi-Family Low Density) District, to Allow for the Construction
of a Single-Family Dwelling-
Chairperson Borgna introduced the case and requested staff
presentation. The applicant is requesting to be allowed to place
a single-family dwelling on the subject tract, which is a legal
non-conforming lot established prior to zoning. It is 50' in width
instead of the 60' required by the zoning code. Because of the lot
width, it does not meet the bulk and area requirements of the code.
The applicant was not present- Three surrounding property owners
expressed no objection to the variance for a single-family
dwelling- Following discussion and the satisfactory answering of
questions in regard to the variance, Jim Smalley moved to approve
the requested Variance- Motion was seconded by M 0 Eckel. A vote
on the motion was recorded as follows:
Mac Borgna Yes
