Regulations, Chapter 3, Section 3.5, Easements, TO ALLOW FOR ENCROACHMENT
BY 7.5' 1NT 'THE REAR. YARD UTILITY EASEMENT on property zoned RS-2
(residential Medium Density District). The subject property is described as a part of Lot
7, Bloch 2, Brentwood Pillage, air addition to the City of Owasso, 'Tulsa County,
Oklahoma, further described as 8948 N 138th E Ave,
Duane Cuthbertson presented the item and the property location was described. The
applicant is requesting the variance in order to construct a pool which would encroach
over the existing rear utility easement by 7' 6 ". No utility service exists in the utility
easement. The pool is in compliance with the setback requirements of the Owasso
Zoning (ode. Surrounding property owners have been contacted and legal advertisement
was published in the Owasso Reporter. No objections have been received.
David Hall moved to approve the variance request, Dan Draper seconded the motion.
