None 'The motion carried 4...0 BOARD OF A J STMENT HEARIN _., OA-- 00-2_ ����a� ' f�� ��ss� 1�_�u °k�i� � ®f,a� a - A request for a Variance to the Owasso Zoning Code Chapter 10, Section 1021, "Business Signs and Outdoor Advertising" to allow for an increase in the allowable size of ground mounted signage. Donna presented the case and described the location. This variance request is for the approval of one ground - mounted center sign with a total of 240 square feet of signage to accommodate the Lowe's site and the other four outlots. The hoard of Adjustment approved a variance allowing additional signage in Owasso Market. A portion was replatted into Owasso Market 11. This action cut off the newly platted subdivision from the previous action, Mr. Chris Seay, the applicant, was present to answer questions or concerns from the Board Members. Vicki Tapp questioned Mr. Seay in reference to this ground - mounted sign being the only one allowed within Owasso Market II. 1Ie assured her that there would be one freestanding pylon sign to serve the four outlets and the Lowe's store. Legal notifications were published in the Owasso Reporter and letters were sent to surrounding property owners. No calls were received regarding this request. Staff recommends approval to allow for 240 square feet of ground - mounted signage for Owasso Market I1. Jim Igarta moved to approve the variance request of OBOA -00 -20 to allow for 240 square feet of ground- mounted signage for Owasso Market II. Susan Kimball seconded. (Ward ) Donna Sorrells described the case to the Board Members The applicant has requested a 5' decrease in a 20' building setback, A request for a partial closure of the corresponding 20' utility easement has been submitted and is pending approval. Staff recommends approval of OBOA -00 -22 to allow for a 5' reduction in the 20' building setback. The structure is encroaching by 4,1'. Legal notification was published in the Owasso Reporter and letters were railed to surrounding property owners. One caller asked for clarification and had no objections Mr. Keith Surd, the applicant, was present to answer any questions or address concerns. .lien Foster moved to approve the Variance request of OBOA 00 - -22 to allover for a 5' reduction in the 20' building setback along N. 1,11-1st h,o avenue at E. 86`' Ot N.
