OA -99 -25 A. request from NPC International for a variance of the Owasso zoning Code -- Appendix F (Owasso Sign Ordinance), Section 1021.5, CS and II_, Use Conditions to allow for additional wall. signs not abutting a public right -a-way on property currently zoned CS (Shopping Center) honing District. The subject property is described as Lot 6, Block 1, ROC Owasso Addition, and is located at 12922 E 86"' Street North, Owasso, Oklahoma. The applicant requests to place wall signs on the east and west elevations of the Pizza Hut building now under construction. The case was presented to the Members. Theron explained that this is a stand along establishment and the proposed sign is relatively small and unobtrusive. According to the covenants of this project, the signs will be monument signs. Mr. Mike Moydell, the applicant, was present to answer any questions or concerns regarding this request. Notices to surrounding property owners were sent and publication in the Owasso Reporter. Staff received no calls concerning the request. Susan Kimball moved to approve the Variance request, Ken Foster second the motion. RS -_2 (Residential Single- Family Mediurn Density) Zoning District. The subject property is described as Lot 19, Bloch 3, Central Park II Addition, 'kl'he subject property is located at 1 503 T 88 "" Street N, The applicant's building is 80 connplete encroaches into the front yard setback. Th.cron presented the item. He explained that the encroachment is the result of a building error and is eery minor. They found this encroachment after doing a survey to vacate the easement in order to enclose a patio. The advertisement was published in the Owasso Reporter and notice of the request was sent to surrounding property owners. No calls have been received regarding the request, Ken Foster moved to approve the Variance, Susan Kimball seconded the motion, 'The vote on the motion was as follows; AYE: Ramey, [Foster, Kirriball NAY: None The motion was approved 3 -0, dm O OA=99 -28 -- A request from Robert Patel for a variance of the Owasso Zoning Code, Appendix F (Owasso Sign Ordinance), Section V, to allow a ground sign in excess of the 30 height limitations on property is currently zoned CH (Commercial High Intensity) Zoning District. The subject property is unplatted land located at 7551 N Owasso Expressway. The applicant requests a variance to erect a 50 foot tall ground sign on the site of a new motel under construction. The motel is located southwest of Wendy "s and is adjacent to the Owasso Expressway. Susan Kimball moved to approve the Variance request, Ken Foster seconded the motion. The vote on the motion was as follows: AYE: Ramey, Foster, Kimball NAY. None The motion was approved 3 -0.
