CALL TO ORDER & ROLL CALL a Vicki Tapp called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM and declared a quorum present. 2. ELECTION OF OFFICERS Joe Ramey made a motion to table the election of officers,, motion was seconded by Vicki Tapp. AYE: Varney, WhiuA_er, 'Tapp NAY: Shone 'The motion carried 3-0. 3. CONSIDER APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES OF JULY 1, 1997 _. Joe Ramey moved to approve the minutes, motion was seconded by Gale Whitaker, AYE: Matey, Whitaker, `Tapp NAY: Done The motion carried 3 -0. BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT PUBLIC HEARING 4. OBOA -97 -08 - A request for a Special Exception of the Owasso Zoning Code, Section 1002, to allow for a non - permanent accessory vendor on property zoned CG (Commercial General). The subject property is described as Tots I and 2, Hale Acres 2nd Addition, further described as 13330 N. Garnett road, Owasso, OIL. OWASSO BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT July 22, 1997 Page loo Mr. Rooney presented the staff report. The applicants are requesting a Special Exception to allow for a non - permanent accessory vendor. Staff has reviewed the proposed location and has no concerns regarding the request. No objections from the surrounding; property owners was received by die Community Development Department, Staff recommends approval of the Spacial Exception request with the following; conditions: 1, Si na;e be limited to that which is on tlic structure itself. 1. A trash receptacle be provided to the general public; during; flours of business operation, Following a brief discussion, Cale Whitaker moved to approve the request subject to the above conditions. Motion was seconded by Joe Rainey, AYES: Ramey, Whitaker, Tapp NAY: lone Tlae motion carried 3-0. ,> . O- 9 "w0A request for a pecial Exception of the r Code, 420.2, to allow for a carport on a property currently zoned rMH (residential Mobile Home). The property is described as Lot 23, Block 1, Hale Acres Second Addition, further described as 10919 E. 114th Street North, Owasso, OK, Mr. Rooney presented the staff report. The applicant is requesting a carport in an rMH zoning district. Surrounding property owners were contacted and no comments regarding the request were received. Staff recommends approval of the request for a carport with the following condition: 1. Applicant obtain the required building permit. Cale Whitaker moved to approve the request subject to staff's condition as stated above, seconded by Joe Ramey. AYE. Ramey, Whitaker, Tapp NAY: None The motion carried 3 -0. b. OBOA- 97-10 - A request for a Special Exception of the Owasso Zoning Code, Section 4 20.2, to allow for duplexes on property currently zoned RS-3 (residential Single - Family High Density). The subject property is located immediately north of the entrance to Bailey Golf ranch, south of the bale Addition (Tulsa County).
