CALL TO ORDER & ROLL CALL - Chairperson Wayne Vines called the meeting to
order at 7800 PM and declared a quorum present.

BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT PUBLIC �HEARING
Mr. Rooney presented the staff report.
The applicant is requesting a Variance in order to allow for the development of a Single-
family residence that would encroach into the required rear yard setback of 20 feet by
405 feet. Staff recommends that the Bard limit the variance to the area indicated on the

site plan, with that area totalling no more than 33 square feet, setters were sent to
surrounding property owners within 300' of the subject property and legal advertisement:

architect not staying within the Cit:y's guidelines.
Following discussion and questions, a motion was wade by Pat Imbriano, seconded by
Mr., Whitaker, to approve the variance request,

allow for the development of a school on Zoned PS -3 (Residential Single-Family High
Density) Zoning district, The subject property is located immediately north of the Copper
Meadows Addition on N. 129th E. Avenue,
Mr. Looney presented staff report, The Owasso Zoning Code classifies all educational
institutions as a Use Unit 5, Owasso Board of Adjustment provides the initial review,
followed by the "technical Advisory Committee, Planning Commission, and the City
Council, Staff recommends that the Board of Adjustment defer site plan review to the
responsibility of the Planning Commission, This would allow for all input from the
members of TAC to be considered.
Three residents from the area surrounding the proposed school were present and directed
questions to the Board, following discussion and the satisfactory answering of questions
in regard to the Special Exception request, Pat Imbriano moved, motion was seconded
by John Phillips to approve the request, with the following conditions:
1, All site plan and platting requirements that are requested by TAC and the
Planning Commission be met by the applicant,
