MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING

The meeting agenda was posted at the north entrance to City Hall on the 17`h day of July, 2014 at
2:00 PM.
CALL TO ORDER
2. ROLL CALL
3. Approval of Minutes from the June 24, 2014 Regular Meeting — Dean Knoten
moved to approve the minutes of June 24, 2014 regular meeting, Jim Bausch seconded
the motion to approve the minutes.
AYE: Bausch, Knoten, Ramey
NAY: None
The motion carried 3 -0.
4. Election of Board of Adjustment Chairperson — The Chair opened the floor for
nominations for Chairperson. Jim Bausch was nominated by Joe Ramey, with the
nomination being seconded by Dean Knoten. Hearing no further nominations, the
nominations were declared closed and Jim Bausch was elected Chairperson by
acclamation.
5. Election of Board of Adjustment Vice Chairperson - The Chair opened the floor for
nominations for Vice Chairperson. Sherry Jacobs was nominated by Dean Knoten, with
the nomination being seconded by Jim Bausch. Hearing no further nominations, the
nominations were declared closed and Sherry Jacobs was elected Vice Chairperson by
acclamation.
6. OBOA -14 -06 — Variance, Urgent Care Facil ity — Consideration and appropriate action
related to a request for approval of a variance to allow for a reduction of the minimum
frontage requirement for a commercial shopping zoned lot. The property is located at
9005 North 121 East Avenue (Lot 1, Block 2, Smith Farm Market Place)
Joe Ramey presented the item and Karl reviewed the staff report. Karl described the
property location. Letters were mailed to all property owners within three- hundred (300)
feet of the subject property and the request was advertised in the Owasso Reporter.
Representatives for the applicant were present to address any concerns. Staff

recommends approval of OBOA 14 -06 with the following conditions:
No new driveway cuts shall be permitted, other than what has been shown on the
filed Smith Farm Market plat.
• Planning Commission approval of a lot split.
Jim Bausch moved to approve the variance subject to the above conditions. Dean Knoten
seconded the motion. A vote on the motion was recorded as follows:
AYE: Bausch, Knoten, Ramey
NAY: None
The motion was approved 3 -0.
5. New Business (New Business is any item of business which could not have been foreseen
at the time of posting of the agenda).
6. ADJOURNMENT — Jim Bausch moved for adjournment, seconded by Dean Knoten. A
vote on the motion was recorded as follows:
AYE: Bausch, Knoten, Ramey
NAY: None
The motion was approved 3 -0 and the meeting was adjourned at 6:15 PM.
