On Monday, May 7, 1984, the Owasso City Council met in a special
session in the Community Center, 207 So. Cedar, per the Notice
of Public Hearing and Agenda posted on City Hall bulletin board
at 4:00 p.m, on May 4, 1984.
ITEM l: CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 7:27 p.m, with Mayor Spencer
presiding.
ITEM 2: FLAG SALUTE
Flag salute was waived.
ITEM 3: ROLL CALL
PRESENT: Boyd M. Spencer, Mayor
Wauhilleau Webb, Vice-Mayor
James Smalley, Councilman
Von Stockier, Councilman
Ben Hynum, City Manager
Ron Cates, City Attorney
Ann Hendrickson, City Clerk
Lee Dawson, City Treasurer
ABSENT: Robert Peel, Councilman
ITEM 4: BUSINESS
A. DISCUSSION OF PROPOSED CITY OF OWASSO BUDGET FOR 1984-1985.
The Council, City Manager, City Treasurer and Department Heads
discussed the preliminar-y figures presented for the 1984-1985
budget.
B. CONSIDERATION OF APPOINTT~IENT- OF DEPUTY CITY CLERK
Motion was made by Mayor- Spencer, seconded by James Smalley, to
appoint Faye Smith as Deputy City Clerk for the evening of N1ay
3, 1984.
AYE: Messrs. Spencer, Stockier, Smalley; Mrs. Webb
NAY: None
Motion carried.
Motion was made by TZayor Spencer, seconded by Von Stockier to
recess the May 7 special session of the Owasso City Council and
to reconvene at 7:00 p.m, on May 8, 1984.
AYE: Messrs. Spencer, Smalley, Stockier, Mrs. Webb
NAY: None
Motion carried.

On Tuesday, May 8, 1984 the Owasso City Council reconvened the
special meeting of May 7, 1984.
The meeting was reconvened by Mayor Spencer at 7:04 p.m.
