The meeting of deciding on the proposed water•rateeincrease.was held for Joe Ross Jerry Myers Robert Ball V.D. Duncan (arrived at 8:00 p•m•) Noble Campbell James Matney Marcia G. Riggs Mayor Councilman Councilman Councilman City Manager John Edleman Mr. Mansur W.W. VanDall Herb Tyler Josephine Downey Ron Walsmith City Engineer City Clerk Attorney Water Super. Deputy Clerk Owasso Reporter Absetxt; &9ean Large Mr. Mansur of Mansur, Daubert, and Williams went over the new proposed rate increase and explained it in detail to the Council members. Ordinance No. 158 was presented and Mr. Myers moved to accept the Ordinance. Mr. Ball seconded. Ayes- Ross, Myers, Ball. The necessary papers were excut~ad by the Mayor and the City Clerk. A copy of Ordinance No. 158 was properly filed and by reference, made a .~ part of these minutes. Mt. VanDall suggested that the City of Owasso send Mr. Noble Cam be as our delegate to the Tulsa Metropolitan Utility Authority meetpngll This Authority has to do with the planning of Utilities with larger cities and would benefit the City of Owasso in the future. Mr. VanDall presented Ordinance No. 159 and Mr. Ball made a motion to accept this Ordinance and Mr. Duncan seconded the motion. Ayes-Ross, Myers, Ball, Duncan. The necessary papers were excuted by the Mayor and City Clerk and a copy of Ordinance No. 159 was properly filed and by refezence, made a part of these minutes. Mr. VanDall preseented the request of the Missionary Baptist Church that the City Of Owasso release the Utility easement that through their building. Ordinance No. 160 releasing above easementfeet was adopted upon motion by Mr. Duncan, seconded by Mr. Ball. Ayes-Ross, Myers, Ball, Duncan. The emergency clause was invoked by motion of Mr. Duncan and was seconded by Mr. Myers. Ayes- Ross, Myers, Ball, Duncan. Mayor Ross asked if there was any further business and as there was none, Mr. Ball moved to adjourn at 8:23 p.m, and Mr. Myers seconded the motion. Ayes- Ross, Ball, Myers, Duncan.
