The OYrasso Town Council met in ~gu~ar session on February 7, 1972 at 7 p.m.
in the Town Hall.

The minutes were read and corrected to read 25 miles per hour instead of 35 ~p on
86th Street from the Ram Shack.
Peel presented the treasurers report.
Jerry Pickerill a local attorney was introduced He will .conduct the court
on Saturday Feb. 12.
Peel made a report on the retirement for city employees Action was tabled
until a latter date.
J. D. Cheek met with the council members on Thursday Feb. 3 concerning city
.government. A meeting has been set for Thursday Feb. 24 with a Mr. Spencer.
He will discuss the writing of a city charter.
Herb Tyler said that the city will be receiving $15,000 for the repair of the
flow line but that it will not be available until July.
Peel made a motion that Ross try to set up arrangements to get money from the bank
so that work may start immediately. Second by Duncan. Ayes Large, Duncan and Peel.
Large recommended that Don Bennett be made a relief police officer and collect dogs
at $1+25. a month. Peel made a motion that this be done. Second by Large. Ayes
Duncan, Laege and Peel.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned at x:42 after the
following claims were signed.
