The Owasso Town Council met in regular session on November 16, 1970, at 7:00 p.m. in
the Town Hall

The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved as read except after Mr. Henson's
motion that Ted Standford be salaried as policeman at $450. per month, Mr. Ross asked for
an ammendment to the motion instead of a new motion.
Mr. Sherrill was notified, as per motion last meeting, to cease use of his residential
property for business purposes, and to the best of our knowledge, he has ceased use of
the location for business.
John Mansur, Engineer, is working on final plans and will meet with utility companies
to show them exact plans.
Mr. Sawyer discussed problems of court and Reed zoning. He has rewritten Ordinance No.
130 and made sewer charges effective January 1, 1970 through January 31, 1973• The
Ordinance is dated 11-19-70.
Mr. troth read specifications for the use of the $10,890.00 grant from the Federal
Government on the Sewer Project. Mr. Henson moved we accept the grant with the specifi-
cations. Mr. Evans seconded the motion. Ayes: troth, Henson, Stamper, Evans, Ross.
Mr. troth presented application with certified proof of publication of the Wm. M. and
Laura S. Hawk property for zoning: as CG (Commercial Genera~~

NW-4 Section 29, Township 21, North Range 7..L,,, East,
Tulsa, County, Oklahoma
Mr. Henson moved the zoning be granted. Mr. Stamper seconded the motion. Ayes: troth,
Henson, Ross, Stamper, Evans.
Mr. troth said the bond money would be available Wednesday or Thursday. Mr. Henson
moved the unneeded money be invested by the treasurer. Mr. Stamper seconded the motion.
Ayes: troth, Ross, Henson, Stamper, Evans.
Mr. troth read a letter from the Oklahoma Crime Commission stating that our application
for the purchase of a police patrol car had been unanimously disapproved.
