HomeMy WebLinkAbout1962 01_Proceedings for Condemnation_1962.03.01RESOLTUION A RESOLTUION DECLARING THE NECESSITY FOR AQUIRING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY, MORE PARTICULARY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED, ALL WITHIN THE COUNTY OF TULSA, STATE OF OKLAHOMA, FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING AND BUILDING A DEWAGE DISPOSAL PLANT FOR THE TOWN OF OWASSO, ALL SAID PROPERTY TO BE USED FOR SEWAGE DISPOSAL PURPOSES; DECLARING THE NECESSITY FOR ACQUIRING THE SAID PROPERT FOR SEWAGE DISPOSAL PURPOSES; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, THE TOWN OF OWASSO HAS LOCATED AND PROPOSED THE BUILDING OF A SEWER TO BE LOCATED SOUTHEAST OF THE PRESENT TOWN OF oWASSO FOR THE PURPOSE OF DISPOSING OF AND THE TREATING OF THE SEWAGE OF THE TOWN OF OWASSO, SAID SEWER TO BE BUILT AND CONSTRUCTED ON LANDS HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED. I. WHEREAS, the town of Owass has found it necessary to appropriate t the hereinafter described tracts of land for the above designated purpose; and II. WHEREAS, the town of Owasso has made a diligent effort, in good failt, to aquire, by purchase, from the owners thereof, the tracts of land hereinafter described and said owners have refused and still refuse to grand and convey to the town of Owasso the lands necessary for sewage disposal purposes, as afresiad, and III. WHEREAS, there are now on hand remaining unexpended and unemcumbered funds available, sufficient for the said purpose and amounts sufficient to pay for the said real estate. IV. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDED OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES AND THE TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF OWASSO that the acquisition and appropriation of the hereinafter described real estate is necessary for the purpose of constructing and building a sewage disposal plant and the said propose required the acquisition of a free simple title in the properties described as the South 285 feet of the West 531 feet of the SW/4 SEA NEI/4 and the North 20 feet of the South 107 feet of the West 41 feet of the SW/4 S2/4 NZ/4, all in Section 119 Township a!
