PRESENT: John Groth Gary Evans William Henson Donah Huggins Josephine Downey M.S. Letter dated February 11, 1970 from the State Department of Health`_~to President and Board of Trustees informing that a permit for the project could probably be issued upon receipt of Mansur~s engineering report on project. Memorandum dated February 12, 1970 to M.S. Sawyer from Mansur-Steele regarding Owasso Sewer System project. The Board reviewed the above correspondence and discussed the project with the representative from Mansur-Steele, Mr. Love. Engineers preliminary plans were presented to the Board along with estimated prices for the project. The report is nearly complete and ready for submission and final approval. Mr. Sawyer presented Resolution #1~ pertaining to the Housing Act of 1961, to the Board for review.(copy attached) Mr. :...Henson moved that Resolution #18 pertaining to Housing Act of 1961 be enacted; seconded by Mr. Evans. Ayes: Groth, Evans, Henson. _. r '_+ Mr. Sawyer presented his opinion on the authorization of the contract to acquire land fora park, which the Government will aid in funding. Mr. Groth suggested that an invitation be extended on behalf of the City Council to the Baseball Commissioner and Baseball Managers, and any interested supporters, regarding the new park land and how they plan to utilize the land, and how we can all cooperate and work together. Mr. Sawyer presented his opinion concerning the City of Tulsa~s request of easement, railroads, acid certain right-of---,ways. It was Mr. Sawyers opinion that there was sufficient legal language to protect us in the future if the easement was granted. Mr. Evans moved that we grant the City of Tulsa easement to the railroad; seconded by Mr. Henson. Ayes: Grath, Evans, Henson. Mr. Henson moved that the meeting be recessed until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 1970; seconded by Mr. Evans.
