The Board of Trustees of the Town of Owasso met in regular session at the Town Hall
at 7:00 p.m. on February ~ 1969.

The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved as read.
Ordinance No. 109 relating to the re~--?'.a.tion, control, use and operation of motorcycles,
motor scooters, and motor bikes, was presented by Mr. Sawyer. This Ordinance repeals
No. 96 which was approved August 3, 1967. Mr. Large moved the Ordinance be accepted.
Mr. Henson seconded the motion. Ayes: troth, Large, Henson, Ross. (Attached)
Mr. Large moved that an emergency exists and that the Ordinance shall be affective
immediately. Mr. Henson seconded the motion. Ayes: troth, Henson, Large, Ross.
Wesley Stevens, Chamber of Commerce President, asked permission to use the Town Park
on July 4th for an Owasso Day similar to previous Progress Days. Mr. Henson moved
the request be granted. I~~. Lar~?e seconded the motion. Ayes: troth, Large, Henson,
Ross.
Several visitors were present protesting the City approval of the mobile home develop-
ment at llbth Street North and Garnet Road. Discussion was continued in O.U.A. meeting.
Mr. troth said the revised costs of paving, storm sewers, and sidewalks would be
$183,866. after widening the street north of 86th Street North to 40~.
We now have $8,162.20 from three months of sales tax collections.
Mr. troth issued a proclamation proclaiming immunization month in Owasso.
Mr. troth presented a petition from Mr. J. Ray Smith, Owasso Lumber Company, asking
for annexation, subject to zoning for mobile homes and or multiple units, a plot of
approximate six acres, just south of Owasso Town limits.
Mr. Sawyer suggested that Mr. Smith present another petition, omitting conditions as
there is no law permitting annexation with conditions.
