PRESENT: John Groth Chairman of Board Joe Ross Dean Large Bill Henson Donah Huggins Josephine Downey Martha Boyd ABSENT: Gary Evans Trustee Trustee Trustee Acting Town Clerk Deputy Clerk Treasurer NTinutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved as read except that portion relating to revised cost of widening roads, sewers, etc. was changed to a revised estimate of cost for the project. Letter contained a revised petition, which Mr. Groth read to the Board. Petition submitted by the joint owners. Mr. Ross moved that we set a date for a hearing for the annexation at the next regular metting, March 17, 1969 at 7:30 p.m.; seconded by Mr. Henson. Ayes: Groth, Ross, Large, Henson. Letter dated March 3, 1969 from C.W. and Shirley A. Fry with petition for annexation to the Town of Owasso.I~Ir. Large moved that we set a hearing for the petition at the next regular meeting on March 17, 1969 at 7:45 p.m.; seconded by Mr. Ross. Ayes: Groth, Ross, Large, Henson. Letter dated February 27, 1969 from Dave Atkinson concerning Owasso~s Health Center. Mr. Large raised a question on the dog catchers' hours in relation to the number of dogs caught in the length of time. Mr. Henson will check on the matter with Police Chief Waters. Mr. Ross reported to the Board Mr. Tyler's request for a new tractor for mowing. The tractor lists at $5,300, but the City could obtain it for $3300-$3400 after the 30% discount and trade in are considered. Mr. Tyler also sent a list of specifications. The Board agreed that the City needed the mowing equipment and to set it up for bid. Mr. Large moved that we place the tractor up for bid, and to advertise in this weeks paper. Bids for the tractor will be opened March 17, 1969 at 8:00 p.m.; seconded by Mr. Henson. Ayes: Groth, Large, Henson, Ross. Copy of the letter to Larry Donaldson, other party involved in accident with police car, was reviewed by the Board. Farmers Insurance Group sent the copy. Mr. Donaldson is now responsible to the Company for the $1019.12 incurred in the accident. The following claims were signed and approved by the Board: I~Teter Deposit Fund: Chas.
