April 7, 1969--minutes continued--
Mr. troth read a letter from the Juvenile Bureau of the District Court dated
April 2, 1969 advising the Open House for the Center on April 16, 1969 and
inviting our participation in the event.
Mr. troth announced that on April 17, 1969, next regular meeting of the Planning
Commission, the Owasso City Council and the Owasso School Board would meet
together concerning the land usage program.
The Board discussed the cleaning of the Cityts buildings. It would cost the G~ty
$120, per month for a thorough cleaning once a week for all four of the buildings.
It was decided to try the plan on a trail basis of one month and to investigate the
matter in the meantime.
Mr. Spike Nail from the Traffic Engineering Department, Tulsa, wanted to repair
some of the Townfs signs as a part time job. Mr. troth discussed the matter
with the Board and decided that the repairs were unnecessary since the Main
Street project would replace most of the signs anyway.
The manager of Williwdale came before the Board concerning the flooding in the
Trailer Court. The matter was referred to Jimmy Ladd and Earl Kerr since they
are responsible for that water line from Jonesville.
Mr. Henson suggested that we rease the hourly pay for relief policemen from the
present $2.00 per hour to an increase of $2.25 per hour. The matter is under
advisement and will be discussed at the next regular meeting.
Ms~. Lepkee will be notified to open the ditch at his residence of 5th and Birch.
