Due to the amount of money involved, bids will have to be taken. Mr. Evans moved that we set the opening of sealed bids for material for the 20th of October, the next regular meeting, at 7:15 p.m.; seconded by Mr. Stamper. Ayes: troth, Evans, Henson, Ross, Stamper. The Board is still considering a prospectixe member to fill the vacancy on the Planning Commission. Mr. Ross mentioned Mr. Jack Purvis. The matter is still under consideration. The Board discussed the letter from the last meeting from Mr. Herbert Hale regarding the deannaxation of certain properties in the Town's limit. Mr. Sawyer reported to the Board that Mr. Hale had not mailed him the necessary legal des- cription of the land. Mr. Sawyer recommended to the Board that the matter be disregarded or discontinued until Mr. Hale presents proper and necessary information. Mr. Stamper moved that the deannaxation of Mr. Hale's property be discontinued until proper. information is furnished; seconded by Mr. Henson. Ayes: troth, Evans, Stamper, Ross, Henson. Mr. Earl Rippetoe appeared before the Board regarding certain rural route refuse service. Mr. Rippetoe wants to discontinue trash service to several of the scattered rural locations. Mr. troth advised Mr. Rippetoe that we would send form letters to notify the people the service would be discontinued in that area. Mrs. Ruth E. Cooper, 101 N. Atlanta, appeared before the Board with a written request to reopen the drainage ditch near her property and to repair her driveway. Damage to her property is being caused by drainage the City caused when the street was repaired. Mr. troth advised Mrs. Cooper that Mr. Ross would investegate the matter, and if the damage had been caused by our work we would repair it. The Board discussed a complaint from the trailer park wihch was heard over the weekend. Mr. Evans said ghat there had been a display of immoral acts and that the complaint did involve a city employee. The Board agreed with Mr. troth's statement that it was not an intention to involve ourselves with the personal lives of city employees, but when their actions caused a bad reflection on the City we would have to intervene. It was agreed that the employee was not worthy of staying in employ of the City. Mr. Henson moved that Mr. Kenneth Carlson's services with the Town of Owasso be discontinued and terminated effective immediately; seconded by Mr. Stamper. Ayes: troth, Ross, Henson, Stamper, Evans. Mr. Ross told the Board that the Owasso Lounge had asked the County to came in and remove certain curbing around the establishment. The owner had agreed to replace the curbing, but so far nothing has been done. The matter is under consideration.
