The Owasso Board of Trustees met in regular session at 7:00 p.m. on January 6,
1964 at City Hall.

The minutes of the last meeting of December 16, were read and approved as read.
The special meeting which was set for December 30, was postponed to January 6,
the regular meeting night.
The following representatives were present with bids on repairing the water tank
by replacing pipes:

Mr. Bryson suggested we table action on bids until references are checked on the
lowest bidder. It eras agreed.
Mr. Bryson read a letter from Herbert Hale asking for a M:;rcury Vapor street light
at the corner of S.E. 7th and Main Street. Mr. Austin moved we install the light
in place of the old one. Mr. Dunc-~n seconded the motion. tiyes: Bryson, Flournoy,
Austin, Duncan.
A letter was read from Jack Purdie, Chief of Police of Tulsa inviting representatives
from our town to a meeting at 7:30 p.m., Monday, January ?_7, 1964 at the Tom Tom
Room of the rirst Dlational Autobank for the pur,~ose of discussing consolidation of
municipal-county law enforcement. The trustees expressed disproval of such con-
solidation.
Mr. Austin moved we accept the Citizens Committee's recommendations on the 5-ward
zoning of the city, leaving legal formality to the attorney. Duncan seconded the
motion. Ayes: Br~rson, Flournoy, tiustir., Duncan.
