Mrs. Parks from the liquor store appeared and said she thought it unfair to charge ~2~?0. for a liquor license as other towns around here do not charge as much. Bryson said he would like to study the situation before a decision is made. Flournoy moved we cut the license fee in half. Austin seconded the motion. Duncan moved we table the motion until next July 20 meeting. Austin seconded the motion. Ayes: Bryson, Austin, Duncan, Flournoy. Bryson read a contract from Badger Meter Mfg. Company, F_,uaranting a maximu*n price for one year on any meters we wish to buy from them. Austin moved we sign the contract. Duncan seconded the motion. Ayes: Bryson, Austin, Duncan, Flournoy. Mr. Bryson presented a map from Mansur Engineers showing where easements should be located on the need property East of Towr.. It was agreed for Herb Tyler to study the map before a decision is made. Let the minutes reflect that a copy of a letter was rec°ived from Mansur on a work order to Byrd Construction Co. Mr. Clay reported that the City of Tulsa could no longer take care of our stray dogs free of charge. rl~hey suggested a charge of approximately .50 per day for each dog for food, for three days then a charge for destroying the dogs. Clay was instructed to find out the exact cost that could be worked out with the City of Tulsa and report to the Council for a decision. Mr. flay suggested the stop light be moved to 2nd and Main Street but the Board decided to leave it where it is now. Ray Skinner, Insurance Agent for the City, discussed the new insurance policy which includes two passenger cars, four trucks and liability for all city employees. Mr. Flournoy moved we add medical of v~1,000. each on all six vehicles for $12.00 each or a total of v~72.00. lluncan seconded the motion. Ayes; Duncan, Flournoy, Austin, Bryson. Herb Tyler said there is a problem of an outdoor toilet where the sewer line is not available, north of the Methodist Church. Mr. Bryson said to notify the Health Officer when the toilet runs over. Dorothy Allsup asked for a raise and to work by the month instead of by the hour. She asked for ~1g0. per month. Mr. Austin moved iJe give a raise to X185.00 der month. Duncan seconded the motion.
