November 2, 1964
The Board of Trustees of the Town of Owasso met in regular session at the Town
Hall on the 2nd day of November, 1964 at 7:00 p.m.

The minutes of the last meeting of October 19 were read and approved as read.
Mr. Bryson presented a letter from Cline Mansur with sewer recommendations for
the construction of the Buy Rite Building located on Lots 2 and 3, Block 26. The
Board agreed to go along with the recommendations.
A trash hauling contract with Welsey Justice was brought before the Board. Bryson
moved we sign the contract. Flournoy seconded the motion. Ayes; Bryson, Flournoy,
Austin, Duncan.
Mr. Flournoy moved we build a shed for waterworks equipment, using interest earned f rom
water bond money and money donated for vacated streets if needed. Old building to be
torn down. Austin seconded the motion. Ayes: Bryson, Flournoy, Austin, Duncan. Bids
are to be let.
Mrs. Odom read a letter written to Miss Downey regarding stop light relocation.
Mr. Bailey appeared for commercial zoning of his property: (NE~ NE~ NW~ of Section
30, Township 21 North, Range 14 East of the Indian Base and Meridian, Tulsa, County
Oklahoma) No protests were heard since the plat was changed to include an open
street south. Mr. Flournoy moved we zone the property commercially. Austin seconded
the motion. Ayes; Bryson, Flournoy, Austin, Duncan.
Mr. Bryson suggested we think about using the remainder of the Sewer Improvement Fund
to extend sewer system East.
A resignation was read from Mr. E, L. Isreal, dated Sept. 1, and received Sept. 25 in
the Clerk's office. Mr. Bryson moved we accept the resignation. Mr. Austin seconded
the motion. Ayes: Bryson, Flournoy, Austin, Duncan.
