Bryson Don Austin V. D. Duncan Inez Odom Josephine Do-~rney Absent: Floyd Flournoy President of the Board Trustee Trustee Town Clerk Deputy Clerk The minutes of the regular meeting of September 16, 1963 were read and approved as read. Mr. Bryson moved we call off the election for the method of paying for the bond issue because it was drawn up to assess each water tap owner $2.25 per month for twenty-one years regardless of the number of residences in town and not considering growth. Mr. Austin seconded the motion. Ayes: Bryson, Austin, Duncan. Mr. Sidney Lindsey was present with a $25.00 check and an application for commercial zoning of the following described property where his laundry is located; Lot two (2), Block two (2) in the original town of Owasso according to the recorded plat thereof, He was advised to have the application published and a hearing was set for the next meeting on October 21, 1963• Mr. Cline Mansur of Mansur & Steele was present for discussion and vote on the engineer agreement for the bond issue which was presented last meeting. It was agreed to table action on the agreement because one member was absent. Mr. Bryson read an application to zone the following described property from residential to commercial use; Lot One and Two (1) and (2), Block 11 in the original town of Owasso, Tulsa County, Oklahoma, according to the recorded plat thereof. The application with a $25.00 check had been previously filed at City Hall by Lewis S. and Adrianna Carter. This application was scheduled for hearing on the next meeting date, October 21, 1963. Mr. Bryson read a request from Pearl Hauptman and Willi L. Sherrill asking for a street light at 10th and Main Street. Mr. Duncar~an Austin seconded the motion that we install the light. Ayes; Bryson, Austin, Duncan. Mr. Franke asked the Council for some suggestions and cooperation in keeping trash off the streets of the business district.
