Flournoy made a motion that each member of current and new City Council send a telegram to each Oklahoma State Legislator from this district, protesting removal of County road funds from control of County Commissioners. Motion seconded by Beane and carried, 3-0 Flournoy brought up subject that dogs are giving trouble within City limits. Suggests that City take strays to S.P.C.A. for ex- termination. Flournoy made a motion that it be advertised that vaccination and tagging of dogs shall be held on May 2, 1959. Seconded by Beane, motion carried 3-0. Beane suggested that the old City Hall be used for same. Beane made a motion that bids be taker on all insurance purchased by City. Motion died for lack of a second. Beane made a motion that City be given an acknowledgement of cover- age on all insurance purchaded by City. Flournoy seconded motion. Motion carried 3-0. Flournoy made motion that incoming board be paid $5.00 per regular meeting attended, not to exceed $10.00 per month. Seconded by Beane, and carried 3-0. Mr. Richardson asked that S.P.C.A. be paid $3.00 per dog for the two dogs delivered to them. Flournoy made motion that S.P.C.A be paid. Beane seconded motion. Carried 3-0. Sheldon advised that Bearer line has sunk at spot where Sherrill tied on to the City. Board agreed that Sherrill should be advised. Charney appointed to bring matter to the attention of C.B. Sherrill. Motion to adjourn made by Flournoy, seconded by Beane, and meeting adjourned. Approved: i ~ ` Pres. o Board n Clerk
