Minutes of previous meetings read and approved. Treasurer's report given as follows: Meter Deposit 2770.05 Street and Alley Fund 1203.04 Sewer Fund 1186.19 General Fund 884.0 ';tiater Fund 3292.65 Sinking Fund 8715.81 Water Works Bond 63.03 The following claims were presented: FICA (Battenfield) 15.10 FICA (Allsup) 35.22 Josephine Downey 24.00 FICA (Battenfield) 4.00 FICA (Richardson) 16.26 Josephine Downey./" 7q.20 J. G"J, Allsup 8.90 J. W. Allsup 20.00 J. '~J. Allsup 27.50 FICA (Zundel) 21.00 The claims were approved as read. (i~iotion mach by Chittenden, second by Rosecrans) The council was advised that Security Bonds for E..R. Richardson, and Marguerite .Sheldon would be $5.00, and $2.50. The Chamber of Commerce was represented at the meeting to discuss buying a used filter for a swimming poo1.:_, a plan of the future. No action was taken. Jerry Swanson, the City Attorney, attended the meeting for the said business of a claim for service rendered for October, November, and December, in the amount of $90.00 A motion was made to accept the said land into the City Li~riits of Owasso, the Smithvietr Addition, consisting of the said r~etition filed January 7, 1957, 123 lots plus open land to the east of plotted addition. No action was to be taken at this meeting. Motion made by Rosecrans to take R,o,y Bailey's rental property into ~•.. sewer district at the regular tax rate. Seconded by Chittenden, and carried. Motion made by Rosecrans to increase the bond of theChief of Police from $1,000.00 to $3,000.00. The motion died from lack of a second. A motion was made by Rosecrans tc raise the salary of the Police Chief from $150.00 to $200.00. Seconded by Chittenden; motion carried. Motion made by Rice that the increase be effective January 15. Seconded and carried. A motion was made by Rosecrans t~~ take $600.00 from see,+rer fund and $400.00 from Mater fund. Seconded by Rice. Vote was one aye, one opposed, and 2 abstaining. 1~ It was to be brought to Bob Nichols attention that the sewer many-holes must be raised to ground level before accepting the aaaition. It was a;~proved by a vote of the council. to build the man hole u_p to the ground level at theAndy Trout residence, 3 Nest May. A motion was made to put the signs back up in town. Seconded by Rosecrans, and motion carried. A motion w~_s made to adjourn by Chittenden, seconded by Rosecrans, and meeting adjourned. Approved: ~~ President City Clerk.
