Approved: President City Clerk May 6, 1957- Cont. New Board ~~ The newly elected Town Board was sworn in by Jerry Swanson, City Attorney. The new trustees are as follows: Wayne Beane, C. A. Sheldon, Glenn Combs, and Floyd Flournoy. Marguerite Sheldon was sworn in as Treasurer. It was suggested by Flournoy that meeting be opened for nomination of President of Board. Motion made by Beane, seconded by Flournoy, to appoint C. A. Sheldon to fill office of President of Board. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Motion made by Sheldon, seconded by Beane to appoint Flournoy as Street & Alley Commissioner. T%Iotion carried by unanimous vote. T~Totion made by Sheldon, seconded by Co.:bs to appoint Beane for water Commissioner. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Motion made by Flournoy, seconded by Sheldon, to appoint Combs for Police Commissioner. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Motion made by Combs, seconded by Flournoy, to appoint Sheldon for Sevrer Commissioner. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Claims of 5-15-57 were approved and are as follows: Robert Zundel ~ 79.83 E. Motion made by Sheldon to appoint Bill Boyd as City Clerk. Seconded by Beane. Motion carried by unanimous vote. 'a9 ill be sworn in at a later date. Floyd Flournoy is to make an appointment with Don McBirney conserning additional land for the city cemetery. Motion made by Beane, seconded by Flournoy, that meetings be called every Monday night for an indefinite period.
