Council met in regular session at Town's Office at 7:00 P.Ni.
Present: Sheldon, Beane, Flournoy, and Combs.
Absent: None
Motion made by Flournoy to accept minutes as read. Seconded by
Beane. Motion carried.

Motion to pay claims as read made by Combs, seconded by Flournoy.
Motion carried.
Motion. made by Beane to have Dr. Evans contact Dr. Haney concerning
the Inspection of the water system. Seconded by Flournoy, motion carried.
Motion made by Beane to recommend Ernest R. Smith to the County Commiss-
ioners for the ap_aointment of Justice of the Peace. Seconded by Combs,
motion carried.
Board agrees to have double stripes painted through the city limits.
Plans for Expansion of the First Baptist Church has been revised and
accepted by the Board.
