Citizens present: Lon Villines, Mrs, Villines, Floyd Flournoy, K. W. Lavendusky, V. Duncan, John Hannum, J. W, Stout, H. Hart, and Strawdey McCarty. Minutes of previous meetings read and approved as read. ~,~~~~.,~'^!r4 Treasurers report given as follows: Street and Alley 941.12 Sewer 3933.36 Water 1027.44 General 1432.17 Meter Deposit 2628.80 The fol~owing claims were approved: Mrs. W. K. ;Nilliams (Services) 9.00 Vaughn Chemical Co. (Chemicals) 32.50 Cooper Supply Co. (Plbg. Supplies) 30.39 Ross Smithers (Disallowed) A. E. Kelsey (16 hrs. extra help) 20.00 Norman Howland 100.00 Gerald Swanson 41.00 Okla. Natural Gas Co. 6.25 Robert Anderson 10.00 W. E. Rice 38.08 Claude Chittenden 22.00 Owasso Lumber Co. 16.60 Sherrill and Sherrill Ins. Ag. 97.50 J. W. Allsup 72.50 David Allsup 32.00 Donald Mestler 19.20 (27.50;22.50;22.50) William Boyd to notify Jonesville that bill for meters in the amount of $168.64 in favor of Rockwell Mfg. Co. past due and payable. Motion made by Chittenden that claims be approved. Seconded by Rosecrans. Carried, all ayes. Regular Water shutoff and Meter Removal notice forms to be provided and filled out upon request of person requesting such service. Motion by Rosecrans that Mr. Villines is to pay half of the outstanding bill of $18.00 and pay meter deposit before installation of new meter. Seconded by Chittenden and carried. Council advised that ?_8 Sewer inspection fees for sewer lines in place ~ at present time on Missouri and Louisiana streets 14 on each street should be collected from developer, Bob Nichols. J. W. Allsup was given authorization to buy 140' of ~4"galvanized pipe and 1 coil of 3i4„ copper tubing. (60') The following Civil Defense Commissions were signed: Velber Duncan, Don F. Klahr, Ira Leach, V. C. Bridges, G. E. Rosecrans, Jack Stout. Rules and Regulations attached on separate sheet. Commissions held in abeyance: Claude Morris and Weldon Jackson. Motion made by Rosecrans that Ordinance #98 be accepted as read. Seconded by Chittenden. Carried all ayes. Ordinance to be published ,~', three times in Collinsville News and 50 copies to be kept in City Record. notion made by Rosecrans that the Chamber of Commerce be permitted to hold annual Progress Day September 22. Seconded by Chittenden. Carried, all ayes. Motion by Rosecrans that Monday, September 4, 1956, be declared a legal holiday and the Water Dept, office will be closed on said day. Seconded by Chittenden. Carried, all ayes. Kenneth Lavendusky volunteered his services as City Clerk. This action was suspended until the next meeting night when all members are present. Motion by Rice that the minutes be adopted. Seconded by Chittenden. Carried. Motion by Chittenden that meeting be adjourned. Seconded by Rosecrans. Meeting adjourned. Bryson (Wages) 88.20 Motion made by Rosecrans that the claims presented be paid. Seconded by Rice. Carried. Motion made by Rosecrans to accept agreement as written between City of Tulsa and City of Owasso to re-route water line to build their sewer disposal plant. Seconded by Rice. Carried, all ayes. Motion made by Rosecrans to authorize J. W. Allsup to build and install a new basket for sewer plant and also buy new locks for sewer boxes. Seconded by Rise. Motion carried, all ayes.
