Planning Commission formed for the systematic develop-
ment and betterment of the City as a place of residence
or for business, and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Ilarilyn Hinkle was appointed to the Owasso Planning
Commission in April, 1979, served as Secretary from May,
1979 until July 17, 1980, when she was elected Chairman.,
a post she held until her resignation October 5, 1984,
and,
LIHEREAS, Mrs, Hinkle was a dedicated, capable leader, who willingly
put in the hours of work and study necessary in the per-
formance of her duties, maintained an excellent attendance
record, and was committed to guiding the growth of Owasso
to best benefit all its citizens,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Counci - I of the City of
Owasso, that Mrs. Marilyn Hinkle be officially recognized
and commended for her faithful and valuable service to
the betterment of Owasso through her work on the Owasso
Planning Commission®
