NOTICE OF ELECTIONS AND CERTIFICATION
WHEREAS, a Primary Election shall be held on the
16th day of March, 1982, for the purpose of a Primary Election
to elect Councilpersons to the City of Owasso, Oklahoma, for the
Wards and terms as follows:

5 1 year to fill the unexpired term of
Dr. Steven Clark expiring April 30, 1983.
WHEREAS, a General Election, if necessary shall there-
after be held on April 6, 1982, to elect said Councilperson, or
Councilpersons.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA,
1. That a non - partisan Primary Election for City
Councilpersons, as above set out, be held on
the 16th day of March, 1982;
(a) That General Election thereafter, if necessary
be held on April 6, 1982.
(b) Only qualified electors of the City of O�oasso
who reside in the respective wards shall be
qualified to hold the officies of Council- -
person.
(c) All offices shall be filled by voting at large.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Owasso, Tulsa County, Oklahoma, hereby certifies to the Tulsa
County Election Board that the following numbered precints are
to be opened: 751, 752 and 753.
The City of Owasso certifies that there are no qualified
electors that live within one hundred feet of the fenceline that
goes into Rogers County.
The filing period is from February 17, 1982 through
February 23, 1982 for the Primary Election.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in accordance with Oklahoma
State Statutes for municipalities with a population of six thousand,
a Declaration of Candidacy must be accompanied by a cashier's check
or certified check in the amount of $50.00.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 19th day of January, 1982.
