The Owasso Public Works Authority met in regular session on Tuesday evening, June 4, 1974,
at 9:19 p.m. with the chairman presiding.

Mr. Myers moved that the minutes of May 5, 1974 be approved as presented. Mr. Large
seconded the motion. Ayes: Ross, Myers, Ball, Large, Duncan. Mr. Ball moved and Mr.
Duncan seconded the motion that the minutes of the called meeting, May 20, 1974, be
approved as presented. Ayes: Myers, Large, Ball, Large, Duncan.
A short discussion on the progress of the Elm Creek Sanitary Sewer Project followed but
no action was taken by the Board.
There was no discussion on street work since this subject had been thoroughly discussed
during the City Council meeting.
This was discussed under the City C unci1 meeting which was improper: Mr. H. D. Hale
asked that the Board reconsider i_tsction on the raise in water rates, particularly in
regard to multi —family rates, He asked Mr. Edelman if there were any other towns or
municipalities where this "duals+ standard existed and he stated that if this ware the
case, he would withdraw his request but if there were none, and Mr, Edelman did not know
whether a precedent had been established in this area, Mr. Hale stated that he would
take legal action. Mr, Myers stated that he did not see anything wrong in reconsidering
the matter, The Council concurred and Mr. Hale was advised that the Coun it would meet
again in two week and that they would try to make a final decision on tgatter at the
meeting in July,
Mr. Large moved and Mr. Duncan seconded the motion that the Claims be paid as presented.
Ayes: Ross, Myers, Ball, Large, Duncan,
Mr. Campbell explained that a man had been assigned to the drainage problem but nothing
could be done as long as inclement weather prevailed.
At approximately 9:28 p.m., Mr. Ball moved that the Board adjourn. Mr. Large seconded the
motion. Ayes: Ross, Myers, Ball, Large, Duncan.
