The Owasso Public Works Authority met in regular session Tuesday evening, January 87
1974 at 8:59 P.M. with Chairman Ross Presiding.

OOn a motion by Mr. Large and a second by Mr. Myers the minutes of the previous meeting
were approved. Ayes: Ross, Myers, Ball, Large, Duncan.
The contract for the Owasso —Tulsa water line extension was approved on a motion by Mr.
Duncan and a second by Mr. Large. Ayes: Ross, Myers, Ball, Large, Duncan.
The Urban Engineering Agreement between Mansur—Daubert Williams, Inc., Architect —Engineers,
and the City of Tulsa was approved by a motion from Mr. Myers and a second from Mr. Large.
Ayes: Ross, Myers, Ball, Large, Duncan.
Mr. Campbell recommended that the Authority have Mr. VanDall draw a contract between Herb
Tyler and the Owasso Public Works Authority wherein Mr. Tyler will inspect the Owasso —
Tulsa water line extension which is to be installed. Mr. Large so moved and Mr. Myers
seconded. Ayes: Ross, Myers, Large, Duncan, Ball. No salary was mentioned.
Mr. Sokolosky and Mr. Lane, developers, asked the Authority to sell Revenue Bonds for
sewer lines East of the City which would include the Elm Creek Development. Mr. Sokolosky
stated that he would guarantee $509000 on this project and felt other developers would be
willing to guarantee part of the bonds so the Authority would not be left with the indebted—
ness. Mr. Campbell will submit a plat to Mr. Paul Neito of R. J. Edwards Company, for
study to ascertain whether the suggestion is feasible. A report will be given at the
February 59 1974 meeting.
The Authority approved a five (%) percent Cost of Living increase for all OPWA Employees
on a motion from Mr. Ball and a second by Mr. Myers. Ayes: Ross, Myers, Ball, Large,
Duncan.
Mr. Large moved and Mr. Duncan seconded for approval of the Claims as presented. Ayes:
Ross, Myers, Ball, Large, Duncan.
At 9.57 P.M. Mr. Large moved and Mr. Duncan seconded to adjourn. Ayes: Ross, Myers,
Ball, Large, Duncan.
