HomeMy WebLinkAbout1975.02.04_OPWA MinutesFEBRUARY 4, 1975 The Owasso Public !forks Authority met in regular session Tuesday evening, February 4, 1975 at 7:48 P.M. with Chairman Ross presiding. PRESENT: Joe Ross Chairman Marcia G. Riggs City Clerk Jerry K. Myers Vice Chairman John Edelman City Engineer Robert K. Ball Trustee W. 14. VanDall City Attorney H. D. Large Trustee Ralph Schaffer Owasso Reporter Noble C. Campbell Manager ABSENT: V. D. Duncan Trustee Mr. Ball moved and Mr. Myers seconded the motion to approve the minutes of the January 7, 1975 meeting as presented. Ayes: Ross, Myers, Ball, Large. Mr. Myers moved that the Claims be approved as presented. Mr. Large seconded the motion. Ayes: Ross, Myers, Ball, Large. Chairman Ross requested that Mr. Herb Tyler be written a letter of gratitude for his assistance with the OUA Sewer Line North. Mr. VanDall recommended that the Authority approve the Agreement and Deed from Shirlene Gaylord Kerr and Walter Don Kerr vesting fee simple title and easement to the following described property in the Authority for the remuneration specified in the Agreement and Deed: The North 15 feet of the N- NE, NE,,' SW4t less the East 470 feet thereof; and the North 15 feet of the East 370 feet of the N-� NEB NE} SU14 of Section 32, Township 21 North, Range 14 East of the Indian Base and Meridian, Tulsa County, Okla— homa,, and that the Council approve and expend the moneys needed for property belonging to James and Agnes Ladd. These properties are to be used as a site for a lift station on the sewer line East of Owasso proper. Mr. Ball moved that the Authority accept Mr. Van— Dall's recommendation as stated above. Mr. Myers seconded the motion. Ayes: Ross, Myers, Ball, Large. At 7:59 P.M., Mr. Ball moved and Mr. Large seconded the motion to adjourn. Ayes: Ross, Myers, Large, Ball.
