HomeMy WebLinkAbout1976.12.07_OPWA MinutesDecember 79 1976 The Owasso Public Works Authority met in regular session Tuesday evening , December 7th at 10:09 p.m. Present: Jerrald Holt Chairman Bill Parese City Mgr. Bill Williams Vice —Chairman Marcia G. Riggs Secretary Boyd Spencer Trustee Co F. DeLaFleur City Atty. V. D. Duncan Trustee Robert Yock Trustee On a motion by Mr. Williams and a second by Mr. Spencer the minutes of the November 9th meeting were approved. Ayes: Holt, Williams, Spencer, Duncan. Judge Pickerill administered the Oath of Office and The Acceptance of Trust to Robert Yock, Mr. Noel Ward, Rogers County Dist. #3, discussed installing an emergency tap on our 12" line at 129th East Ave. and 76th St. North with the Authority. This would be used only for emergencies and Tulsa would bill Rogers County directly for the water used. Tulsa Utility Dept. will install the tap but Rogers County Rural Water will pay for the connection. If water is needed the Tulsa Utility employees will turn the water on for Rogers County Dist. #3. The Authority gave their approval to continue with negotiations for the tap. A vote was taken for an emergency purchase of a tool box for the new truck at a cost of $1,300.00. Mr. Williams made the motion and Mr. Duncan seconded. Ayes: Holt, Williams, Spencer, Duncan, Yock. Mr. Williams suggested the old tool box be sold. On a motion by Mr. Spencer and a second by Mr. Yock the claims were approved as presented. Ayes: Holt, Williams, Spencer, Duncan, Yock. At 10:35 p.m. Mr. Williams moved and Mr. Yock seconded to adjourn. Ayes: Holt, Willliams, Spencer, Duncan, Yock. e a cia G.
