The Owasso Public Works Authority met in regular session Tuesday evening, July 6th
at 9:46 p.m.
Present: Jerrald Holt Chairman Bill Parese City Mgr.
Bill Williams Vice —Chairman Glenna M. Anderson City Treas.
Boyd Spencer Trustee Marcia G. Riggs Secretary

On a motion by Mr. Spencer the,minutes of the June 1st meeting were approved
with the following corrections On a motion by Mr. Spencer the water service will
be discontinued on the 20th of each month if unpaid by that date. Mr. Duncan
seconded. Ayes: Holt, Williams, Spencer,Joplin, Duncan, Mr. Duncan seconded for
approval with the above correction. Ayes: dolt, Williams, Spencer, Duncan.
On a motion by Mr. Duncan and a second by Mr. Spencer the minutes of the June
29th meeting were approved. Ayes: Holt, Williams , Spencer, Duncan.
On a motion by Mr. Williams the water rates for the Owasso Public Works Authority
were increased by 20%. Mr. Duncan seconded. Ayes: Holt, Williams, Duncan.
Nay: Spencer. The new rates will go into effect August 19 1976.
On a motion by Mr. Duncan and a second by Mr. Williams the water and sewer line
construction permits for Three Lakes Development were approved. Ayes: Holt,
Williams, Duncan.
Mr. Duncan moved that the water and sewer line construction permits for Ator IV
and Elm Creek be approved. ( Mr. Spencer having left at 10:05 p.m. and Mr.
Williams having to abstain from voting on these two projects necessitated that
these items be put on the next regular meeting agenda.)
On a motion by Mr. Duncan and a second by Mr. Williams all Owasso Public
Works Authority employees were given a 5% salary increase. Ayes: Holt, Williams,
Duncan.
On a motion by Mr. Williams and a second by Mr. Duncan the water contract with
the City of Tulsa for the period of July 1, 1976 to June 309 1977 was approved.
Ayes: Holt, Williams, Duncan.
On a motion by Mr. Williams and a second by Mr. Duncan authority was given to the
City Manager to purchase a good used backhoe within the price range of $14,000.00
to $151000oOO. Ayes: Holt, Williams, Duncan.
On a motion by Mr. Williams and a second by Mr. Duncan the claims were approved
as presented. Ayes: Holt, Williams, Duncan.
At 10:20 p.m., Mr. Duncan moved and Mr. Williams seconded to adjourn. Ayes: Holt,
Williams, Duncan.
