HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980.11.18_OPWA MinutesThe Owasso Public Works Authority met in regular session on Tuesday, November 18, hambers at City Hall, per the Notice of Public Meeting and in Council C 1980, Hall Bulletin Board at 4:00 PM on November 14, 1980, and Agenda, posted on City by reference made a part hereof. ITEM 1 - CALL TO ORDER. The meeting was called to order at 8:04 PM with Chairman Spencer presiding. f _ ITEM 2 - ROLL CALL. Present: Boyd Spencer, Chairman Robbie Fickle, Vice Chairman Dennis Burke, Trustee Harold Charney, City Attorney Kenneth Thompson, City Manager Wauhilleau Webb, Recording Secretary Absent: Al Lambert, Trustee ITEM 3 - APPROVE CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS. Motion was made by Robbie Fickle, seconded by Dennis Burke, to approve Consent A enda items, as follows, as published in the Owasso Reporter on November 13, g reference made a part he e 1980, and by Ayes - Messrs. Spencer and Burke, Mrs. Fickle Nays - None Motion Carried. ITEM 4 - REVIEW BIDS FOR PIPE AND FITTINGDSTNGOONSTRUCT METER CONNECTION TO TULSA WATER LINE AT 76th STREET NORTH gave the Board copies of the amended and supplemental list for Mr. Thompson g project was 1 for $6,414.37, and recommended this project. Owasso Public Works Authority November 18, 1980 Page Two ITEM 5 - HEAR REQUEST OF MR, JOHN EAGLETON FOR PAYBACK OF COSTS OF WATER LINES IN HILLSIDE ESTATES SUBDIVISION. Mr. Thompson said he has spent a good deal of time researching this ma he was satisfied the contract is in order but there were two or three Board needed to decide, one beingmatter and terminate. when the contract or things the He said the maximum total cost of this contract pa would begin and $18,500 to $20,000. payback would be ITEM 6 - APPROVE ADDITIONAL WARRANTS FOR PAYMENT. Motion was made by Boyd Spencer, seconded by Dennis Burke to a warrants 320 through 372 for $32,886.95 and authorize Chairman to sign same by reference made a approve additional part hereof. and Ayes - Messrs. Spencer and Burke, Mrs. Fickle, with Mrs. Fickle abstaining on Warrants 363 and 364. Nays - None Motion carried. ITEM 7 - APPROVE CANCELLATION OF DECEMBER 2, 1980 MEETING DUE TO BOARD ATTENDING NATIONAL LEAGUE OF CITIES CONFERENCE. Motion was made by Robbie Fickle, seconded by Dennis Burke to cancel December 2nd meeting due to Board attending National League of Cities conference. Ayes Messrs. Spencer and Burke, Mrs. Fickle Nays - None Motion carried. ITEM 8 - NEW BUSINESS. Mr. Thompson gave the Board Mansur-Daubert-Williams estimated fee for t line projects.
