Home My WebLink About1989 02_OPWA_Convey a Tract of Land to the Oklahoma National Guard_1989.10.17 OWASSO PUBLIC WORKS AUTHORITY 89-02 A RESOLUTION OF THE OWASSO PUBLIC WORKS AUTHORITY RESOLVING TO CONVEY A TRACT OF LAND OWNED BY SAID OWASSO PUBLIC WORKS AUTHORITY TO THE OKLAHOMA NATIONAL GUARD FOR USE BY THE OKLAHOMA NATIONAL GUARD FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT FACILITY, PROVIDING FOR A REVERSION IF CONSTRUCTION DOES NOT OCCUR WITHIN TWO YEARS, AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN OF THE OWASSO PUBLIC WORKS AUTHORITY TO EXECUTE NECESSARY INSTRUMF~S OF CONVEYANCE. NUMBER RESOLUTION the Owasso Public Works Authority is the owner of fee in and to the property described in Exhibit" A" WHEREAS, simple title hereto WHEREAS, said real estate is held by the Owasso Public Works Authority to be utilized by said Authority for purposes of promotion of the industrial, commercial, cultural and educational development of the City of Owasso Oklahoma as well as areas in proximity thereto WHEREAS, the Oklahoma National Guard, through a joint project between the United States of America and the State of Oklahoma, is desirous of utilizing said real estate for purposes of construction and operation of a Support and Maintenance Facility for the Oklahoma National Guard; and, WHEREAS, the Trustees, the Owasso Public Works Authority deem a conveyance to the Oklahoma National Guard of the real property described in Exhibit" A" hereto consistent with the purposes of the Trust as above stated and as set forth in the Declaration of Trust of the Owasso Public Works Authority. THE OWASSO NOW&, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TRUSTEES OF PUBLIC WORKS AUTHORITY THAT: Section One (1): The Owasso Public Works Authority, a Public Trust organized and existing under the laws of the State of Oklahoma 61 O.S. Section 176 et. seg. shall convey unto the Oklahoma National Guard the real property described in Exhibit "A" hereto for the sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00) and other valuable consideration, such consideration being the construction and operation thereon of a Maintenance and Support Facility for the Oklahoma National Guard. In that respect, such conveyance shall provide that the Oklahoma National Guard shall construct such Support and Maintenance Facility on the real property described in Exhibit "A" hereto within a period of two (2) years from the date of said conveyance. If and in the event construction thereon of a Support and Maintenance Facility has not occurred wi thin two years from the date of such conveyance then, in such event, the real property conveyed shall, unless extension of time to construct is given by the Trustees of the Owasso Public Works Authority, revert unto the Owasso Public Works Authority. Government Survey thereof: Thence South 89 0 35! 40" West along the North line of SW/4 NE/4 (South boundary of the Ivadel Addition to the Town, now City, of Owasso) for 220.50 feet to the Point of Beginning, thence South 890 35' 40" West along the North line of the SW/4 NE/4 (South boundary of said Addition) for 96.00 feet; thence South 000 24' 20" East for 129.00 feet, thence North 890 35' 40" East for 96.00 feet, thence North 000 24' 20" West for 129.00 feet to the point of Beginning containing 0.28 Acres more or less. TRACT F A tract of land commencing at a point 40 feet West of the NE Corner of the SW/4 NE/4 Sec. 31, T-21-N, R-14-E, of the Indian Base and Meridian, Tulsa County, Oklahoma according to the U. S. Government Survey thereof: Thence South 000 19' 11" East and parallel to the East line of SW/4 NE/4 for 1,011095 feet; thence South 890 40' 15" o West for 31000 feet, thence South 00 19' 11" East for 24.00 feet, o thence south 89 40' 15" West for 243.95 feet, thence North 000 24' 20" West for 906.58 feet, thence North 890 35' 40" East for 96.00 feet, thence North 00 0 24' 20" West for 129 feet to the North line of said SW/4 NE/4; (South boundary of the Ivadel Addition to the Town, now City, of Owasso); thence North 89035' 40" East along the North line SW/4 NE/4 (South boundary of said Addition) for 180.50 feet to the Point of Beginning containing 6.25 Acres, more or less.
