RESOLUTION
A RESOLUTION ADJUSTING THE WATER AND SEWER TAP FEES,
ESTABLISHING THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF, AND PROVIDING
FOR PUBLICATION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Owasso Public Works Authority, hereinafter
referred to as "0.P.\:J.A.", is presently charging One Hundred
Twenty-Five & no/100 Dollars ($125.00) for a water tap and
Two Hundred & no/100 Dollars ($200.00) for a sewer tap, except
in Three Lakes, Elm Creek, and the Baptist Home subdivisions,
where said sewer tap fee is Two Hundred Thirty-Three & no/lOO
Dollars ($233.00); and
WHEREAS, The Board of Trustees of O.P.W.A. has considered
and determined that it would be in the financial interest of
O.P.W.A. and in the public interest to readjust said fees to
reflect present economic trends and conditions
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
OWASSO PUBLIC WORKS AUTHORITY:

A RESOLUTION INCREASING THE WATER AND SEWER TAP FEES, ESTABLISH-
ING THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF, AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION
THEREOF.
Wl-IE REAS , the Owasso Public Works Authority, hereinafter
referred to as "O.P .itJ.A.", is presently charging One Hundred
Twenty-Five & no/loo Dollars ($125.00) for a water tap and
Two Hundred & no/100 Dollars ($200.00) for a sewer tap, except
Three Lakes, Elm Creek, and the Baptist Home subdivisions,
where said sewer tap fee is Two Hundred Thirty-Three & no/100
Dollars ($233.00); and
WHEREAS, the cost to O.P.W.A. of procuring materials and
for the installation of said taps has increased recently due
to general economic trends, i. e., inflation; and
WliEREAS , it would be in the best financial interest of
O.P.W.A. , a Trust Authority created pursuant to Oklahoma
Statutes, to increase the aforementioned fees to keep abreast
of current inflationary trends in the economy; and
WHEREAS, said fees should be increased in the amount of
Fifty & nojlOO Dollars ($50.00) per tap.
NmV", THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE OWASSO PUBLIC WORKS AUTHORITY:
Section 1. The water tap fee is increased to One Hundred
Seventy-Five Dollars ($175.00).
Section 2. The sewer tap fee is increased to Two Hundred
Fifty Dollars ($250.00), except in Three Lakes, Elm Creek and
the Baptist Home subdivision, where the sewer tap fee is
increased to Two Hundred Eighty-Three Dollars ($283.00).
Section 3. The aforementioned increased fees shall become
effective on the day of , 1977.

Section 4. This resolution shall be published once in
a newspaper of general circulation within the City of Owasso
Tulsa County, State of Oklahoma, prior to the increased fees
becoming effective.
