HomeMy WebLinkAbout1986 11_Federal Aid Urban System Project_1986.09.16RESOLUTION PROGRAMING FEDERAL-AID URBAN SYSTEM PROJECT Be it remembered that on the 16th day of September 9 1986 at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Owasso, Oklahoma, the following resolution was presented, read and adopted: RESOLUTION #86-11 WHEREAS, Federal Aid Urban funds have been made available for the construction of Urban Streets on the Federal Aid Urban System, and WHEREAS, the City Council of Owasso, Oklahoma has selected a road construction project described as follows: Upgrading 86th Street North to a four-lane Street from Main Street to 129th East Avenue . and WHEREAS, the Engineer's preliminary estimate of cost is $ 900,000. , and Federal participation under the terms of the Federal Aid Highway Act relating to Urban Highways, is hereby requested, and WHEREAS, the City will arrange for a qualified engineer to furnish engineering services in the preparation of detailed plans, specifications and estimates, and WHEREAS, the City agrees to provide for satisfactory maintenance after completion, and to furnish the necessary right-of-way clear and unobstructed, and WHEREAS, the City further agrees to deposit with the State Transportation Department the matching funds required within thirty days after approval by the Federal Highway Administration. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the State Transportation Commission is hereby requested to concur in the selection of this project for construction and to submit same to the Federal Highway Administration for their approval.
