CITY OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA
NOTICE OF ELECTION AND CERTIFICATION OF PRECINCTS
WHEREAS, The Owasso City Council has asterminets tnat Ordinance
441i requires ratification by a majority of the voters
voting at a speclai election, and;
WHEREAS, in is the desire and direction of the City Council for
sucn election to be conaucted by the Tulsa County
Election Board. and:
WHEREAS, Such election shall be conducted on the 6th day of
February, 090
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
OWASSO, OKLAHOMA;
THAT, A non-partisan Special Election be held on February 6.
1990, for the puraose of offering an electrical franchise
to the citizens for their approval. and;
THAT, Onk qualified electors of the City of Owasso who reside in
the corporate 0m its of zhe city shall be aualified to
carticipate 7n such election, and7
THAT, The City Council of the City of Owasso, Tulsa County,
Oklahoma nerecy certifies to the Tulsa County Election
Board that the following numbered precincts are to be
ned, to wit,-

THAT, The City of Owasso certifies that there are no auailfied
electors that live within one hundred feet of the fenceiine
that exist within Rogers County. Oklahoma,

AND ASSIGNS. A FRANCHISE FOR THe PERIOD OF TWENTY-FIVE (25) YEARS
FROM THE ACCEPTANCE HEREOF TO USE THE STREETS, ALLEYS, AVENUES,
wAYS AND OTHER PUBLIC PLACES AND GROUNDS IN THE CITY OF OWASSD
TULSA COUNTY, OKLAHOMA, FOR THE PURPOSE OF BUILDING, EQUIPPING,
MAINTAINING, EXTENDING, OWNING AND OPERATING A SYSTEM AND PLANT
FOR THE MANUFACTURING, TRANSMISSION, DISTRIBUTION AND SALE OF
ELECTRICIT� IN AND TO SAID CITY AND THE PUBLIC GENeRALLY. AND TC
TRANSMIT ELECTRIC ENERGY TO OR FROM CONNECTIONS AND SYSTEMS IN
OTHER LOWALITIES: WHEREBY PUBLIC SERVICE COMPANY OF CKLAHOMA
AGREES TO MAINTAIN ELECTRIC SERVICE 1NDEMNIFYING s HE CITY OF
OWASSO IN SUCH OPERATION. AND IS GIVEN THE RIGHT TO ESTABLISH
REASONABLE RULES FOR SUCH SERVICE: WHEREBY PUBLIC SERVICE COMP='
OF Om,AHOUTA AGREES TO CHARGE LEGAL RATES FOR SUCH SERVICE. TO
SELL AND DELIVER TO THE CITY OF OWASSO ALL ELECTRIC ENERGY
REQUOSTED BY !T AND IS AUTHORIZED TO PERMIT OTHERS TO ATTACH
FACILITIES TO 1TS POLES AND STRUCTURES AS PROVIDED HEREIN:
PRWIDING POR THE PAYMENT TO SAID CITY BY PUBLIC SERVICE COMPAN`i
OF OKLAHOMA OF A MONTHLN TAX ON THE GROSS RECEIPTS FROM SALE OF
ELECTRICITY 1N SAID CITY. REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 72 OF THE CITY
OF OWASSO AND ALL OTHER C-,,RD!N*4CES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES
CONFLICT HEREWITH: AND SHALL THE ORDINANCE GRANTING SUCH
FRANCHISE. BEING SAID CRDINANCE NO. 411. BE APPROVED'?
