S. 75 easterly to the city - limits of the City of Owasso, Oklahoma; the provision of an interchange access for 76th Street North, Tulsa County, with U. S. 75; and, the elevation of Mingo Road, Tulsa County, and the four-laning of same from 46th Street North to 76th Street North, Tulsa County, are projects deemed by the City of Owasso, Oklahoma, the Owasso Economic Development Authority, and the Owasso Chamber of Commerce critical to the commercial and economic development of the City of Owasso, Oklahoma, and, WHEREAS, State financial assistance is considered necessary to accomplishment of the foregoing projects; and, WHEREAS, a consensus of opinion is deemed beneficial to enhance presentment of such request for financial assistance in improvement of the roadways. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OWASSO, OKLAHOMA, THE TRUSTEES OF THE OWASSO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AND THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE OWASSO CHAMBER OF COMEERCE THAT: Section One: The following projects, prioritized in the order set forth below, are by the respective bodies, deemed essential to the commercial and economic development of the City of Owasso, Oklahoma, and unincorporated areas in proximity thereto as well as improvement of the overall quality of life in such areas, to-wit: 1® The elevation of 76th Street North, Tulsa County, out of the flood plain and the four-laning of same from U. S. 75 easterly to the city limits of the City of Owasso, Oklahoma; 2. The provision of an interchange access for 76th Street North with U. S. 75; and, 3. The elevation of Mingo Road, Tulsa County, and the four-laning of same from 46th Street North to 76th Street North, Tulsa County. Section Two: That State financial assistance in improvement of such roadways is necessary to the successful completion of same and accordingly, this combined request by such public and private bodies is hereby made therefore.
