The meeting was om|lad to ordcr at 11:00 P.M. with Chairman Stockler presiding. ITEM 2: ROLL CALL. PRL6LN|; Von L. A motion was made by M. }hompoon, seconded by P. Marlar, to approve the minutes of March IS, 1988, as written, by reference made a part hereof. AYE: |hompson, Marlar, |aylor, Lamb, 6tockler NAY; None MO|lON: Carried 5-0 OUASSO PUBLIC WORKS AUTHORITY PAGE TWO APRIL S, 1988 lTEM 4: CON5lUERATIUN AND VOTE TO APPROVE THE WARRANTS. A motion was made by S. Lamb, seconded by M. Thompson, to approve the warrants as follows: (l) $23,Sl6,/8 (2) $13,131.11 and *14,925.59. AYE: Lamb, Thompson, Marlar, Taylor, Stockler MAY: None MUTlON: Carried 5-0 ITEM 5: REQUEST FOP TRUST ACTION RELATING TO A CLAIM FILED BY MR. RICK WILLIAMS FOR DAMAGES DUE TO SEWER BACK-UP. DEFERRED FHUM MARCH IS, 1988 MEETING. After discussion, a motion was made by P. Marlar, seconded by N. Thompson, to deny the claim as presented. AYE: Mer)ar, Thompson, Taylor, Lamb, 5tockler NAY: None MUl1UM: Carried S-U ITEM 6: CONSIDERATION TO APPROVE AWARDING THE BID TO TEAM CHEVROLET IN THE AMOUNT OF $l7,080.19 FOR THE PURCHASE OF |UO VEHICLES (lHU[KY, Mr. Ray stated the bids were opened per Notice to Bidders on March 29, 1988 Two bids were received. Staff reviewed the bids and recommends awarding the bid to the lowest bidder, Don Carlton Team Chevrolet. A motion was made by M. Thompson, seconded by M. Taylor, to award the bid to Team Chevrolet in the amount of $17,080,19. AYL: Thompson, Taylor, Lamb, Merlar, Stock)er NAY/ None MOTION: Carried 5-0 TTEM 7: REPORT FROM CITY MANAGER.
