ITEM 7: REPORT FROM CITY MANAGER
A. UPDATE ON ENGINEERING WORK FOR POSSIBLE BOND ELECTION
Mr. Block stated that he had asked Al C. Young Co. if they would
assist in putting together the engineering papers necessary in
preparation for the possible bond election. They are familiar
with the subject and are interested, especially if they might be
doing the work if the bond election passes. Mr. Block said he
didn't think it would be in the City's best interest to have an
open end contract. He said that they then offered to work on an
engineering curve. Mr. Block said he preferred to have the
preliminary work done on an hourly basis and negotiate a contract
if the bond election passes.
