a regular session in the Council Chambers at City Hall per the Notice
of Public Hearing and Agenda posted on City Hall bulletin board at
4:00 p.m. on August 3, 1984.
ITEM 1: CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 8:05 p.m, with Chairman Spencer
presiding.

ITEM 4: CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL OF CONSENT AGENDA
A. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF JULY 17, 1984 OPWA MEETING.
B. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF OKLAHOM STATE DEPT. OF HEALTH PERMIT
#WL-84-415 (APPLETREE ACRES)
C. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF OKLAHOMA STATE DEPT. OF HEALTH PERMIT
#WL-84-414 (ELM CREEK COMMERCIAL CORNER),
Motion was made by James Smalley, seconded by Robert Peel, to
approve the Consent Agenda, by reference made a part hereof.
AYE: Messrs. Spencer, Smalley, Peel
NAY: None
Motion carried.
ITEM 5: BUSINESS
A. DISCUSSION AND CONSIDERATION OF PROPOSED INCREASES IN WATER
SEWER AND REFUSE RATES.
Council discussed the proposed increases in water, sewer and
refuse rates. Consideration of sewer and refuse rate increases
was tabled until further notice.
Motion was made by Robert Peel, seconded by James Smalley, to
increase water rates 13� per thousand gallons effective immediately.
AYE: Messrs. Spencer, Smalley, Peel
NAY: None
Motion carried.

B. STATUS REPORT ON STEP II/BOB DAY
Mr. Bob Day of Farrar -Hudspeth, Inc. gave a status report on the
EPA Grant -Step II for the proposed sewer plant.
6. REPORT FROM CITY ATTORNEY
None.
7. REPORT FROM CITY MANAGER
Mr. Dawson reported on the progress on the laying of the new water
lines.and sewer lines. He stated that construction on the new
water tank has begun.
